Terms and Conditions

Years of experience has refined our policies and procedures. They allow us to provide you with a safe and professional shopping experience and excellent service.

Delivery and access
a) Delivery: Standard delivery: If your purchase is under £500 an additional charge of £29 will be added. If your purchase is over £500 our standard delivery is free to your door only and normally within 10 working days of the goods being deemed in stock. 

 a1) Delivery: Premium delivery: Delivery to the room of your choice by our premium delivery team will include specially trained staff in fully equipped furniture vans.  Our team will set the furniture in place in your home and take away the packaging.
There is an additional charge of £69 for this service. Premium deliveries may take an additional week longer than our standard free delivery.
 Orders must be arranged for delivery within 14 days of us contacting you. A re-delivery charge will be imposed if no one is home to accept delivery and a 10% storage charge will be applied per month or part thereof unless otherwise agreed in writing with the store manager at the time of purchase.
At the time of delivery you will be required to validate and sign-off on the delivery of the Products, after which time the Products become your sole responsibility. Any returns must be returned on our delivery van. Any returns made thereafter will be charged according to individual logistics.

b) Delivery dates & lead times: All of Choice Furniture Direct sales are special orders: - furniture ordered specially for you from the factory.
All dates quoted at the time of sale are made in good faith and whilst we always make every effort to honour them, it must be recognised that they are estimates only, and consequently we cannot accept any liability or damage claims resulting from overdue deliveries.
Choice Furniture Direct cannot be held responsible for manufacturer delays. Choice Furniture Direct will not be responsible for any other losses, costs, damages or charges that you may suffer if we delay in supplying or do not supply those Products.

c) Access: Please note the size and dimensions of the furniture you have ordered and ensure that the item or items will fit in the designated room and through any passages, stairwells, landings and doorways on the way to the destination room. Choice Furniture Direct does not accept responsibility for any furniture that will not fit into its intended location.

d)Area: All orders for delivery to addresses within mainland GB that exceed a total value of £500 are delivered free of charge, except for the following postcodes. AB,DD,PH, FK, IV, KW,HS,TR,KW. These postcodes will incur an additional charge which you will be advised off prior to your order being processed.
For delivery to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands and Channel Islands we will deliver free to a nominated mainland GB address if the order value exceeds £500 and is not in a post code where additional charges apply e.g. a port. The seller shall deliver the goods suitably packaged and in good condition to the forwarding carriers. Choice furniture direct can not be held responsible for damage that occurs thereafter.Onward shipping from that point is the responsibility of the customer unless prior arrangement is made and confirmed in writing with Choice furntirure direct such confirmation outlining any additional costs that this service may incurred that will be met by the Buyer. Orders placed from and delivered to the Channel Islands will not be subject to VAT.

Damage
In exceptional circumstances, a product may arrive suffering minor wear and tear from the shipping process, or even a minor defect that occurred at the factory.
Customers must report any damage i.e. scratches, chips, tears, soiling etc. immediately upon delivery. It is important that each item is carefully and thoroughly inspected by you or your authorised agent immediately upon delivery. Please note that you must report any damage upon delivery by noting it on the Delivery Note. Choice Furniture Direct will not be responsible for any damage not reported.

Colour Variation
All natural and synthetic colours and finishes can only be supplied on the understanding that there is always a possibility of variation.
Leather and wood products will by their nature be subject to grain variations. whilst every reasonable effort will be made to ensure colour matches, fabrics and leather may vary due to dye lot variations. All removable covers of a matching suite must be cleaned at the same time in order to avoid colour variations. Choice Furniture Direct will not be responsible for colour variations in the event that matching items are not purchased together.

Returns
when you purchase online, you have a statutory right to return a product up to 7 days after your order has been placed (cooling off period). You can return the item to us and we will organise a refund (excluding delivery cost & re-stocking fee) Please contact us for a quote on return delivery & re-stocking.

Price Promise

The product is at a standard price, not on sale, discounted or on an ebay listing.
The product is new and not ex-display or returned stock items.
You must provide proof of product price. (i.e. website address, brochure etc.)
This promise applies to new product sold through normal retail channels only.
The two items must be exactly the same.
Time-frame within 7 days from date of delivery.
The price must include VAT and other charges e.g. delivery.
The item must be new and not ex display, end of line or returned stock.
The item must be at standard price and not in a sale or on special offer.
You must provide information on the vendor to enable us to verify the price.
The alternative item must currently be available.
Price Promise only applies to goods available in the UK.
Choice Furniture Direct must retain a suitable profit.

Special Customised Orders
The above 7 day return (cooling off period) does not apply to Special Customised Orders.

Ready to Assemble Items
Choice Furniture Direct will not accept the return of any item which has undergone any assembly by the purchaser.
All items returned to Choice Furniture Direct must be in there original packaging and returned in same conditions as they were delivered.

Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, under no circumstances, including, but not limited to, negligence, shall we be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages that result from the use of or the inability to use the Website, any changes to the Website, any material or data sent or received or not sent or received or for any of the above-mentioned damages that result from the use or inability to use the Products. In no circumstances shall our liability and that of our suppliers to you and/or any third parties for any of the above exceed £200.00.

Disclaimer of Warranties
The information contained in the Website is for information purposes only and, although we have made every effort to ensure the correctness of the information contained herein, the information available through the Website is provided "as is" and "as available" and without warranties or conditions of any kind either express or implied. We do not warrant or represent that the use or the results of the use of the materials available through the Website or from third parties will be correct, accurate timely, reliable or otherwise. We accept no liability in relation to any of the above other than as may be provided for under your statutory rights.

Laws
The terms of use shall be governed by and construed fully in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. You and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United Kingdom. If any provision(s) of the terms of use is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law, then such provision(s) shall be construed, as nearly as possible, to reflect the intentions of the parties with the other provisions remaining in full force and effect.

Website
a) Use and Security: You are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your Account which is provided to you by Choice Furniture Direct. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use or any other breach of security.

b) Conduct: You agree to abide by all applicable local, national and international laws and regulations and are solely responsible for all acts or omissions that occur under your usage, including the content of your transmissions through the Website. All information, designs, drawings and other specifications provided on the Website are the exclusive property of Choice Furniture Direct. Any copying, transmission or re-transmission of the same requires the prior written approval of Choice Furniture Direct.
This Website is for use by persons who are 18 years and over only.

Price of Goods
The price listed on the Website (the 'Price') for Choice Furniture Direct products (the "Products") will be as stipulated at the time when you place your order on the website. We are entitled to make adjustments to the Price to take account of any increase in our supplier’s prices, or the imposition of any new taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the Price for the Products on the Website is wrong.

Information and Specifications
All descriptive matter, drawings, pictures, colours, specifications and advertising on the Website are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the Products.

Modification of Terms

Termination
