Windsor by ERCOL

Classic Windsor dining chair.

Since 1920 Ercol has been making classic, timeless pieces of furniture.

Ercol are delighted to reissue a small selection of some of their favourite pieces. Made in small volumes these pieces offer a unique and distinctive product.

Designed in the 1950’s by the company’s founder, Lucian Ercolani, these pieces are as appropriate to today’s living as they were when they were originally issued

This distinctive Windsor chair combines strength and durability with classic elegance. The six ash spindles and curved seatback, alongside the sculpted seat provide a comfortable and supportive sit.

This Windsor ash dining chair will be finished in your choice from a variety of lacquer finishes that both protects the timber, whilst enabling you to choose the look to match your style and décor.

A feature of this dining chair is the classic Windsor wedge joint, where the leg of the chair goes right through the seat; a wedge is then inserted into a cut in the leg, forming a remarkably strong joint. Sanded off flush with the seat, the joint then provides a beautiful design element.
